Last Sunday, 21st of September 33 members of our U-8 Hurling squad and 13 Coaches made their way to University College Dublin to represent our club in the Kilmacud Crokes Festival of Hurling. 
A fun filled bus journey was waved off by our supporters at 8:30 in the morning. On arrival the boys completed their warm and took a group picture. 
Following this they lined up for a parade and stood for the national anthem. Each of our three teams played 4 games of hurling against teams from every province. 
The skills and determination shown by all was evident from games 1 to 4 as our boys more than held their own against all opposition .

Our hosts provided food for all and a púc fada competition kept all on their toes in between games. A stop in the Supermacs plaza proved a great hit with the lads and they returned home to a great welcome at the Oranmore Community Centre.

A huge thanks to Shane Fleming and the team at KSN Project Management for their generous sponsorship which ensured all Coaches and Players were togged out from head to toe in new sports gear.
