This note is issued to all members to be aware of safety issues around the Renville Site.  With the good weather we are having at the moment, work is progressing very well on the site.  However, under no circumstances should anyone enter the site, unless authorised and accompanied by appropriate personnel.  There are deep excavations ongoing and a lot of heavy equipment in operation on the site and so high risks to anyone entering the site unauthorised.

For those teams using the temporary training area set aside on the site, please note the following points (see screengrab below for reference):

·         Training area shown with red boundary.
·         Parking areas for players shown in blue boxes near the graveyard.
·         Access from the player parking areas is shown by the blue line.
·         Entrance lane from Maree Road to the site is shown by the yellow line.
·         Only managers, bringing gear, etc., are allowed to use the entrance lane to the site for training sessions – all players or people dropping off players shall use areas shown near the graveyard.
·         Construction traffic will access the site from the Maree Road along the lane marked in yellow.

The safety of all our members and general public is paramount to the club and therefore if in the area please be aware that there may be heavy construction trucks accessing the Renville Site.

Thanks and take care.
