This Tuesday evening TOMORROW, 22nd October, our Minor footballers will compete in the County Minor A final for the first time in 19 years. Originally fixed for Sunday 20th, the fixture has been moved to Tuesday due to the Orange weather alert and will now take place under lights in Duggan Park, Ballinasloe.
The boys have put in a huge effort throughout the year leaving no stone unturned in their quest to be the best footballing version of themselves. We are all very proud of them.
The parents have also been an integral part of our story. Anything we've asked for they have bent over backwards to accommodate. We really appreciate it.
To David Raftery for sponsoring our training gear, to Ronan Heffernan for his Friday Gym sessions, to all the people in charge of pitches, to Leonard Fay of Supervalu Oranmore for sponsoring our match day nutrition, to all in the Oranmore Maree One Club who has helped us in lots of different ways we say Mile buiochas.
Finally we know the boys would really appreciate and take great heart from a big vociferous Oranmore Maree support on Tuesday. See you there.
Best of luck to all the players and management involved.
